Excellent property tarnished by external factors which should have been disclosed earlier. Positive: Just typing the code by the entrance/room door they provide. Very spacious room, with excellent facilities. An overall homely vibe Negative: There was one problem, unfortunately, it proved to be significant.The owner contacted me by email that there will be nearby construction work. Since I was only informed a week before I booked the property, I couldn't cancel it. When we arrived at the property, the owner told us last week was very quiet for the building work and they don't know what their construction schedules is, and couldn't control when they work. This was not a problem the 24th and 25th of May as those days were a Sunday and bank holiday respectively, meaning no construction work was done, but from the 26th, construction work began at 6:15AM each morning, getting particularly worse from the 27th to 29th. We could hear drilling, hammering and the sounds of moving equipment. We couldn't sleep very well as the noise directly coming through our bedroom wall. We told about it to the owner, but they were bit surprised, they said no one complained about the noise. They didn't offer us other room to stay or to send us to any other properties, but we received a partial refund of 200 Euros. On the last night, the owner's wife asked me if they can help anymore? But we're leaving Vienna next the morning and I didn't want more money for that, as in the end, money can't make up for the time lost on a family holiday. The owner was very friendly and nice, but for the customer point of view, I wasn't satisfied how they handled the situation. We understand that they have to run their business, but we wish they could offer us other room or hotel, etc at the beginning. Perhaps they should stay the room for a week during the construction work how they feel.

Hervorragend - wenn der Baulärm von nebenan nicht wäre Positive: Ein sehr schönes Appartement - 60 qm groß, perfekt eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Küchenzeile und Bad waren sehr gepflegt und die meisten Utensilien fast neuwertig. Der Blick vom Appartement geht in den Innenhof, von Verkehrslärm ist kaum etwas zu hören. Die Lage in der Nähe zum Westbahnhof ist perfekt für die Erkundung der Wiener Innenstadt: nur wenige Meter entfernt zur Mariahilfer Str., zu S-, U- und Straßenbahnlinien und zu vielfältigen Einkaufs- und Ausgehmöglichkeiten. Negative: Unser Pech war, dass im direkt angebauten Nebenhaus eine Großbaustelle war (und wohl auch noch eine Zeit lang sein wird ), in der den ganzen Tag mit Presslufthämmern, Schlagbohrern etc. gearbeitet wurde - direkt neben unserem Schlaf-/Wohnzimmer. Wir waren zwar zuvor per e-mail darauf aufmerksam gemacht worden - allerdings erst einen Tag vor unserer Anreise.
